KARINA GARDEN JIMENEZ - Executive Director
Known for being meticulous yet refreshingly charming, Karina blends her rich cultural heritage with personal dedication and attention to detail, resulting in uniquely spectacular events for our clients. Her flawless event execution, coupled with her commitment to superior customer service, has earned her a reputation as a "go to" event planner.
As Executive Director of bluGarden Events, Karina provides leadership, motivation, direction and support to the bluGarden Events team. Notwithstanding her many duties for the company, Karina's primary focus centers on maintaining and developing client and vendor relationships, as well as coordinating and managing timelines and priorities for each of our engagements to ensure a flawless and memorable client experience.
An avid music lover, self-proclaimed cupcake aficionado and beagle enthusiast, Karina enjoys reading "mindless" romance novels, tackling do-it-yourself projects and Latin dancing. Karina holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Boston University, along with a Juris Doctorate degree from Brooklyn Law School.
TONETTE WILLIAMS - Operations Manager
Tonette’s background in account management keeps her and everyone around her on task and happy to be a part of something as special as your event.
As the Operations Manager for bluGarden Events, Tonette oversees our overall financial management and daily operations to ensure that we are meeting our company objectives, as well as our ultimate goal of keeping our clients satisfied. On an event level, Tonette is systematic, practical and results driven, and brings a collaborative spirit, attention to detail, and strong communication skills to every event and every client.
Tonette also works with the WeRun annual 5K Run/Walk benefiting breast cancer research and patient support. Tonette is a graduate of Barnard College, Columbia University and Brooklyn Law School.
NIKKI DURAN - Event Coordinator
A perfectionist, Nikki loves to tie all the details of our clients’ events together.
Her number one priority is to listen to our clients’ vision and present fresh ideas and innovative solutions to meet all of their event needs.
A consummate team player, Nikki is in charge of conducting research on current trends, site evaluations, and connecting with new vendors and other third parties to help the bluGarden Events team make truly informed decisions.
NICHOLE BAKER - Communications Specialist
Bright and vivacious, Nichole is an enthusiastic self-starter with a passion for media communications.
Nichole received her degree in Mass Communications with a concentration on Public Relations and Marketing from St. John’s University. She is currently employed as a public affairs associate for a world renowned medical center that specializes in cancer treatment; focusing on the recent launch of their marketing rebrand.
As bluGarden Events’ communication specialist, Nichole creates the language for all marketing and public relations materials and conducts extensive media outreach. Placing her complete attention on bluGarden’s featured event, the 2015 NY BQE, she brings her inventive writing flair and fresh tone to generate media buzz for this experience.
A nomad at heart, Nichole loves to travel and dive into diverse cultures. She finds the greatest pleasure in spending time with her brothers, enjoying new foods with friends, and creating adventures with those she holds close to her heart.
